Granite with large stones like Palladio, Aquarium Description
I am shopping for Granite (http://tanbrown.org) for our kitchen Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) s and (http://maplered.com) a large island (http://maplered.com) (11 ft X 3.5 ft.). We have fallen in love with several similar Stone (http://g603.net) s...they all have larges multicolored Stone (http://g603.net) s in the Granite (http://tanbrown.org) , many of the Stone (http://g603.net) s as big as a dinner plate. The Stone (http://g603.net) names are Aquarium, Palladio, and (http://maplered.com) Rodeo Drive. My 2 questions are...
1. How breakable are these Stone (http://g603.net) s? I would think that they would be susceptible to breakage along the Stone (http://g603.net) borders, but this is just my guess. 2. We have been told some of the Stone (http://g603.net) s are actually Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) ...and (http://maplered.com) I have always learned do not put Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) in the kitchen, b/c it stains and (http://maplered.com) can scratch. So it sounds like these type of Stone (http://g603.net) s would not be great to put into the kitchen b/c of this...is this true.
When you answer, please give me the reasons why I should take your word for it...these are highly technical questions and (http://maplered.com) if you are just making educated guesses like I have, but do not have direct knowledge of these Stone (http://g603.net) s, please do not answer. I am not a snob, just looking for some true experts to help make this decision. We will not buy this if either of my guesses are true...but we REALLY love the look of this Granite (http://tanbrown.org) . Thanks!!!!
